Qualified Chartered Accountant and qualified Chartered Tax Adviser with over 12 years tax experience. Partner in Indirect Tax in EY Cork leading the Indirect Tax practice in Munster. James is also Chair of the Cork Society of Chartered Accountants Ireland 2023/2024.

David Swinburne

David is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and sits on a number of committees across the Institute. David advises Irish SME and Family Businesses at all stages of their life cycle from start-up to growth phase and providing strategic advice and solutions to those that run into difficulty.
David also holds an Insolvency Practicing Certificate from Chartered Accountant Ireland which allows him act as Examiner, Liquidator and Receiver and has acted in such capacities in many high-profile cases throughout Munster.
David works with both businesses and providers of finance on corporate trading and business reviews, restructuring, due diligence and M&A assignments, fund raising and dispute resolution across multiple sectors including hospitality and leisure, manufacturing and technology, retail, professional and financial services, healthcare, agriculture, logistics and distribution, property, engineering, and renewable energy.
