Our charities will go head to head on 10 December at our live virtual event with quizmaster Dustin the Turkey asking the questions, for a share in the donation pot. Each donation you make will be automatic entry into the prize draw, so by donating you also have a chance of winning some excellent prizes, which we will be telling you all about on our social pages over the coming days! Each year, the Chartered Accountants Leinster Society members donate over 900 toys to various childrens charities across Ireland. While we can't do our traditional toy drive this year, we still want to help these charities as much as possible.
This year has been hard on everyone, and our children's charities are feeling the strain more than ever. You, our members, have given so generously to our charities at the Xmas lunch over the years and we know you will help them again!
Every cent of the money we raise here will go to the 5 children's charities below.

Dustin the Turkey has being firmly ensconced in Irish entertainment since first appearing on the hugely successful Tv show THE DEN in 1990 (some say he only joined to pay off his Italia 90 credit union loan which has has still to 10yrs remaining on). Dustin has reaped rewards that usually reserved for major rock stars with nine No.1 singles and three No.1 albums, countless sold out live shows, merchandise and massive Tv ratings. The Turkey has interviewed Presidents, Politicians Hollywood A listers Pop stars but the most important guests are always the Boy and Girls. A long time campaigner for children’s charities, in 2010 Dustin was made an official UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador by Roger Moore. Dustin has also represented Ireland at Eurovision but his biggest achievement to help this nation is taking Ray D’Arcy off his Saturday chat show as The Den returned with Dustin, Ray, Zig and Zag due to popular demand in November. Dustin is currently dating Maura Higgins and Kim Kardashian.

CHAIRMAN, CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS LEINSTER SOCIETY
Áine Crotty is Chairman of the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants Ireland 2020/2021 and is the 8th female Chairman of the Society in 92 years. Áine is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Director in the Risk Consulting practice in KPMG. Áine trained in the Financial Services Audit department in KPMG and has experience in Internal Audit, Risk and Assurance across a multitude of sectors including banking, funds, and insurance. In Áine’s spare time (when she gets some) she is a big running advocate having ran almost 1,700km so far this year and is hoping to do her first marathon next year.
