Barry is a Director, Tax and Wealth Structuring, Financial Planning at Davy Private Clients.

Ruth Higgins

Ruth Higgins is a Partner with Gerrard L. McGowan Solicitors based in North County Dublin practising in the area of Private Client and advises on Capital Taxes, Wills, Probate, Trust and Estate planning. Ruth is a past Chairperson and current member of the Taxation Committee of the Law Society of Ireland, past Chairperson of the Tax Administration Liaison Collections Committee (TALC Collections), past Chairperson and current member of the Tax Administration Liaison Audit Committee (TALC Audit), an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute (Chartered Tax Adviser), and a Notary Public. Ruth has recently been involved in the TALC Subgroup reviewing Non-Resident Vendor Clearance Procedures and Clearance procedures for Estates.

Lauren Clabby

Lauren Clabby is a Director in KPMG Ireland’s direct tax group. Lauren has over 15 years’ private client experience, specialising in income tax, capital gains tax and capital acquisitions tax, and providing direct tax advisory and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals. Lauren has a BCL from UCD and is a chartered tax advisor (CTA). Lauren is a regular contributor to the Irish Tax Review and lectures on personal tax matters.

Maura Conneely

Maura is the manager of the Business Taxes Systems team in Revenue’s Personal Division. The team’s work includes delivering the main annual business tax returns and a range of IT projects including etax clearance, eCG50 and a range of other online developments. The team also supports customers in registering for Revenue’s myAccount which is the online channel for PAYE taxpayers.

Sinead Fox-Hamilton

Sinead is a Law graduate and Fellow Chartered Accountant who has enjoyed a diverse career spanning varied Finance, Recruitment and Consulting positions. In her current role with Chartered Accountants Ireland, she showcases the Chartered Accountancy profession, supports career and professional development journeys along with working with employers to implement relevant training and learning solutions to support talent management. Sinead was noted in Northern Ireland’s ‘Top 40 under 40’ and ‘Top 20 Inspiring Women’ listings and was also recognised for her ‘Services to Accounting and Finance’ in the Northern Ireland Women’s Awards. She is a past winner of Chartered Accountants Ireland ‘Chartered Star’ competition.

Catriona Coady

Catriona Coady is Head of Tax within Wealth Management in Goodbody and is responsible for assisting clients in developing and implementing their strategic financial planning, tax and investment goals. She is adept in advising on investment and tax solutions covering succession and retirement planning. Prior to working for Goodbody she spent over 20 years working with big 4 firms providing tax advice to international and domestic clients. Catriona is a CTA, TEP, CFP and a STEP Ireland Committee member. She is a regular contributor to media on tax and financial planning related matters.

Alan Gourley

Tax Partner, Grant Thornton (NI) LLP. Alan is a leading UK Tax adviser with over 30 years’ experience in the profession, industry and in the public sector and advises High Net Worth Individuals and their families on all aspects of wealth succession, business succession and structuring for long-term growth. He is Chairman of the Chartered Accountants Ireland NI Tax Committee, represents the Institute on the HMRC External Stakeholder Forum for Wealthy individuals and is a member of the Advocacy and Representation Board of the Institute.

Aodhán Deane

Aodhán Deane is a Tax Specialist within Wealth Management in Goodbody and advises clients on a broad range of tax and financial planning scenarios, from inheritance and succession planning to corporate structuring and business exits. Prior to working at Goodbody, he spent 7 years working with a Big 4 accountancy firm, providing tax advice to high-net-worth individuals and their families. Aodhán is CTA and ACA. He has also delivered inhouse tax training sessions and has lectured for STEP Ireland on tax matters.
