Paul Henry

Paul Henry, President of Chartered Accountants Ireland 

Paul Henry FCA was elected President of Chartered Accountants Ireland in May 2020 and was re-elected in 2021, becoming the first President to serve a two-year term since the mid-1950s. He is also the current Chair of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies.

A Director at Osborne King, Paul leads the advisory and consultancy service, where he combines financial and commercial expertise with the embedded depth of property knowledge and experience. A graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast, Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989, and has subsequently worked in industry and in practice.


Barry DoyleBarry Doyle, Chair of the Members board 

Barry Doyle is Investment Director at MASV where he works with early stage and scaling businesses including Open For Vintage, Vudini, Talivest and Republic of Work. Prior to MASV he has held c-level roles in some of the most exciting scaling businesses in Ireland including as CFO of e-commerce SaaS company xSellco - one of Europe's fastest growing tech businesses. Prior to that he was CFO of the social media news and content agency, Storyful where he was part of the team that led the business to be acquired by News Corp. He is currently an elected member of the governing Council of Chartered Accountants Ireland and has served on the board there since 2015. He currently chairs the Institute's Members Board and its Digital Steering Group.


Niamh ManningNiamh Manning, Fundraising & Marketing Officer CA Support

Niamh Manning is CA Support’s Fundraising and Marketing Officer. She has spent the last 8 years working across the marketing industry with roles in the Medical Council of Ireland and PML Group. Niamh is responsible for the promotion, communications and fundraising for CA Support since joining the Institute in June


Kingsley AikinKingsley Aikins, CEO, the Networking Institute 

Kingsley Aikins is the Founder and CEO of The Networking Institute based in Dublin. He is a recognised expert on Networking and has written and spoken extensively on the topic. He has run workshops and presentations for some of the world’s leading companies such as Google, Linkedin, Accenture, Deloitte, Intel, KPMG, PwC and a number of leading law firms in Ireland and elsewhere. He has worked with governments and international agencies such as the US State Department, the UN, EU and the World Bank.

Kingsley is an economics graduate of Trinity College Dublin and has lived and worked in 6 countries in all of which he found networking and building networks essential for making progress. He worked for 10 years for the Irish Trade Board and IDA Ireland and was based in Sydney. He then led the Ireland Funds for 17 years mostly based in Boston. In his time with the Funds over a quarter of a billion dollars was raised for projects in Ireland. He has developed extensive online and offline training programmes on Networking, Philanthropy & Fundraising, Public Speaking and Diaspora Engagement and has spoken on the topics to many non-profits and government departments.

He was awarded a CBE for his work on British – Irish issues. A former Leinster rugby player he is now based in Dublin with his wife and three children.


Karin LaniganKarin Lanigan, Head of Member Experience 

Karin Lanigan has over 20 years’ experience working in the area of financial and executive recruitment and is a qualified career and life coach. She has spent the last 15 years developing a suite of career supports for members including careers advice, coaching, mentoring and recruitment supports. As Head of Member Experience she is also responsible for enhancing the member experience at key touchpoints with members. She is also a regular speaker at Institute events and CPD courses.
